TM is practiced three times a day where a person tries to achieve a state of readiness and relaxation by sitting with their eyes closed. There is no specific focus in TM, the goal is to experience alertness by relaxing the body. When the awareness is obtained then Transcendental Consciousness can begin. TC goal is for the person to reach their full creative potential by blocking the bodies ills such as fatigue. TM settles down and calms the mind to thinking clearly and without disruption.
